Hardaway is a 2022 player that we followed fairly closely the last 6-8 months of his freshman year. He has gobs of potential with his length at defensive back at the next level. Class of 2022 athlete needs to really hit the weight room. It looks like this spring he has too, and I would imagine you see a jump in his play sophomore year, but getting closer to 170 should be an attainable target weight. Hardaway shows a nice base with his footwork, but needs to get much lighter with back pedal and really sharpen what’s going on right at the snap. I like that he is really dedicated on improving his man coverage skills, especially if he ends up developing as a FS. No matter where he ends up on the varsity, I’m sure there will be plenty of times he will be matched up against the other team’s biggest target, so I would imagine you see him moved around much like his freshman film. No doubt you want this 2022 athlete your camp this summer, his upside is immense, and at a confirmed 6’3″, there is no telling how much more he will grow at his age.
