Smith figures to be the starter at QB this year, playing behind mostly a senior, but also getting some solid reps too. He’s a wide framed player, who also got reps on defense too. Squares his pads up field when running the football and looking to punish the defense. Don’t have much to go off throwing the football, but Smith does run behind his pads. Looks like decent fundamentals throwing the football, but would like to see an increase in velocity from his sophomore film. Right now, there isn’t any junior film to go off, but we assume he is the QB based off our knowledge of the program.
