Ofor has seen his recruitment heat up during the spring and into the summer it has caught ablaze. The 6’2″ linebacker has gained about 10 lbs. since last fall. He uses his rangy length to get around blocks, consistently excellent leverage. The 2023 recruit is aggressive at the point of attack and has the sheer strength to knock an offensive lineman off his back. Ofor needs to get better at tackling in the open field where he can overpursue and uses his arms too much when tackling. That said, Ofor is an impactful hitter, and when he has everything lined up, the 2024 linebacker can yield powerful tackles. We would like to see Ofor more in coverage because his frame does suggest it would be more natural for him to be in the middle. Ofor’s athleticism is really impressive and couple that with his intensity, and you can see why FBS programs from across the country have taken a liking to his film, especially from the spring, where he has shown marked improvement already from a technical level. In fact, the kind of progress he has made over the last 8 months is really impressive.
