What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Change of direction, vision, Balance and acceleration. Strength! Low center of gravity and yards after contact. I have great hands and can also catch out of the backfield or line up in the slot. Very versatile! Dependable, Durable. Avg 7 yards per carry as junior. Great hands, feet and balance. Amazing strength and power!!

Edwards is originally from GA, but last year was in Arizona. Well he’s now back in GA, and the 2019 back plans to get a lot of reps at RB. He shows good size and a quality running stride. He has a powerful frame, and something he should utilize even more is his stronger lower body to get additional yardage. Best skill seems to be making well timed cuts in heavy traffic. Edwards can just weave his way for extra yards that most RB’s cannot create on their own. Has worked on ball security, but still needs focus on keeping the ball high and tight. Overall, I like his body composition and he shows above average balance going through tackles – gets extra yards through contact. Pad level is lower this year, really utilizing his strong lower body. Edwards is a nice back that has the power to run between the tackles but elusiveness to get away from linebackers in space.
