Curry is fast. That’s a fact, and he is probably one of the fastest players in pads in the state of Georgia. When he turns the corner, he blows by the defense like they are moving in sand. That helped him and his Thomson team to the Class 2A state championship, where he literally carried his team round after round with incredible stats. Going up against all comers, the 2023 recruit showed out. He is a big play waiting to happen. He has incredible strength in the lower body for a smaller framed guy, and very explosive in the hips which allows him to change directions without losing much speed. Curry is a special player no doubt. He made some elite runs this year where he made the entire defense look silly. He is great at reading defenders and timing his cuts really well. The 2023 recruit was one of the best players in all of 2A this year. He is so dynamically fast that it truly changes the game. At the next level, he figures to be a slot type of guys who can play both receiver and running back. He will also be very dangerous as a returner too. We think Curry is a P5 level football player.
