Williams is good athlete who can turn up field and utilize his good speed to gash the defense. Perry uses him on a lot of jet sweeps and plays out on the perimeter in general to take advantage of that. He has a nice running stride, and pretty good forward lean as well. Watching him on film from last fall, he shows a longer frame, which is more unique for a RB. Taking on contact he shows decent balance, and in several occasions he goes right through the tackle using nice pad level in the process. Williams can certainly take a jump in terms of filling out his frame. His speed getting to the outside and ability accelerate quickly down field is going to grab the attention of schools this fall. Williams is the type of recruit that could truly have a breakout year up ahead, but with many playmakers at Perry they will all be vying for touches.
