What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Jayden Davis led GHSA AAA in tackles in 2017 tallying 148 total tackles, 88 solo tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 INT. A physical tackler with great football instincts, he anchored one of the top rated defenses in GHSA last season.

Davis was relentless last year, and his 140 tackles was near the tops in his classification. What I like about Davis is his anticipation, and how quickly he reacts and how quickly he jumps on the play. He has an elite ability to read the play, and we seem him make an impact in both the pass and run. Largest takeaway from Davis is speed, or lack there of. The 2019 recruit will have trouble getting out to the sideline and defending a spread offense. He is a traditional MIKE, has a wide frame and loves contact filling the gaps. He is a solid tackler, and has no trouble bringing down his opponent. Two areas he can absolutely improve is his lateral quickness and power clean numbers. I think that will greatly improve his mobility out there on the field. Also, just becoming more flexible in general. I think Davis’ football IQ should attract some quality schools.
