We’ve been getting updates on Washburn since he’s been on campus at Heritage and you can see why the 2021 recruit is widely considered the best LS in the state. He does a solid job of snapping off the football. FG’s especially where the ball comes off like a laser. He needs to continue to work on keeping velocity through distance on punt snaps, but overall he is the most impressive of LS’s we have seen in this recruiting class. Washburn is also a linebacker, which is great for his punt coverage potential. March 2020 he came away as the top LS at a Rubio Camp in California. Washburn is legit, and you got to like his general athleticism.
