Humphrey is a big dude and he shows a nice aggressive first step and the determination to drive his man back. He keeps a pretty flat back, but needs to drop how high he is blocking right now. Core strength and body control need work. Humphrey does a lot of good work early on during the play, but would like to see him finish his blocks. Needs to see him generate more power, right now he is just relying on natural size to knock smaller guys off the ball. That won’t fly in college. Getting on his toes, working on footwork in general and really driving through while run blocking needs to be an area of improvement this fall. Humphrey shows potential to play OG or RT at the next level. Last year we saw some first-year OL at Windsor Forest who made good progress, so it will be interesting to see if they can coach up Humphrey a little more and get him more college interest. His size alone will be a major help for his recruitment, but needs to put in the work as well.
