Coach Notes:
Very instinctual player. Only has 1 year of experience playing
football, so he has very high potential. He’s a ball hawk in the
secondary with the jumping ability to snatch interceptions out of nowhere.
Durden is a slight-framed safety/cornderback prospect who shows good acceleration on film. He has good field vision and is an above average tackler in the open field, especially when you take in consideration his size at 155 lbs. Durden leaps on film with his vertical and is a pretty explosive athlete. He shows some upside at CB for sure, but will need to see an uptick in production – he just had a few PBU’s in 2019. The open field speed looks pretty good on special teams.
