What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I provide leadership to my team on the field as well as in the classroom which led me to get the coastal Georgia Black scholar award as well as being a state qualified wrestler and all region OL and all state honorable mention
Brown has been an impactful blocker for the run-heavy Long County for years now. The senior stands just under 6’2″, but what he shows on film, Brown seems to have great length, getting good leverage underneath the pads of the defender. Couple that with his consistent hand placement, and he does a lot good stuff up top. Brown has a strong lower base, driving defenders out of the play. He hustles downfield, getting to the 2nd level to make key blocks. Brown is the type of player who goes 100% on each play. The senior is a good athlete. Functional body composition with a flatback and flexible hips, making for a fairly explosive athlete, especially for an OL. He is in a run-heavy system, so you aren’t going to see a lot of pass blocking film. That said, he shows pretty quick feet and his powerful base plus length can stand up pass rushers. Moving over to IOL should be a beneficial switch at the next level, and you can see Brown pulling across the LOS knocking defenders out of the way.
