Bush is one of the shortest DBs that colleges should not only consider but just throw away said measurements when recruiting. Bush is around 5’8″ but plays much bigger than his suggested metrics. He flows to the football and is an efficient tackler. Bush approaches his tackles like a heat-seeking missile without losing speed, getting low, and taking the ball carrier out low. Bush is good at reading the play and consistently gets a great jump at the snap, so he is often in the right position to make an interception or assist against the run. Bush is a good student with a 3.7 GPA and an All-Region performer who has a chance to be All-State senior year. His high IQ for the game and his excellent academics would have made Bush a great candidate for a PWO but that is somewhat uncertain with the NCAA now. Bush should still be a prospect to consider strongly; he’s the type of football player who will outperform expectations. His SR film is cut up to individual games, so we have attached his JR year, where Jenkins was a surprise team in the 5A playoffs.
