What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I have the Size, Strength, and Speed. “My Initial Quickness” I possess blend of speed to get separation. “Physicality”not afraid to work middle of the field. “Hands and Pass Catching” I look natural snatching the ball out of the air with a quick tuck and secure of the ball and turning getting up field. “Route Running” I have good balance while running routes at top speed with the ability to make a quick transition out of breaks by sinking my hips. “Run After Catch” Good body control to extend plays after contact and have the speed to take it to the house. “Blocking” Demonstrates good inside hand placement and a wide low base to stay in control of blocks. Shows determination to finish the block. “Versatility” Displays Excellent productivity as a returner in special teams and shows playmaking ability on defense as a Cornerback with good technique and aggressive ball skills.
Nails is a quick slot receiver who can get up field and attack a zone defense. Archer has him run a variety of routes and his ability to run after the catch makes him an asset. He is a very strong slot (180-pounds) with consistent hands. On many HS teams he would be considered the best WR but Archer has a bevvy of talent to their disposal. His acceleration the first 20 yards is impressive and he makes quick breaks in his routes.
His speed is average for high school but won’t be at next level. His hands are good. He is the best blocker that Archer had for receivers. This is what earned his spot as his main job is blocking due to his speed. Good over all player. Good prospect for a small school at next level but may be good for practice squad for a bigger school.
