Brooks is really good at squaring his hips to the offensive player and rotating them toward the direction of the route. He does an excellent job of high-pointing interceptions and playing the deep pass. He has good ball skills, shows an athletic back pedal. He can flip his hips and shows really good quickness when breaking on the football. What you have to like about Brooks is that each year he improved in HS, and SR year was unequivocally his best season to date. He’s always played with a lot of confidence, and it’s pretty obvious to any college that the senior can make an instant impact on special teams as he works his way into the depth chart. He was a ball magnet senior year.
