Clark was a menace in opposing team’s backfields with over 20 tackles for loss. He is really young for his class, and just turned 16 back in October, so that is certainly information to take into account. The 2019 recruit plays with good urgency, he gets low, and plays with pretty quick hands getting off his blocks. Clark has a nice swim move, and his first step allows him to blow right by the offensive lineman. Against solid 7-A lineman, we see Clark shed blocks quickly, and then show a ton of energy pursuing the ball carrier. He has legit speed, and when he actually runs out in open space he covers a lot of ground. Clark can play either 3-4 DE or 4-3 DT at the next level. I like his ability to continue to grow, and develop as a pass-rusher at the next level. He is very skilled for a lineman his age, and that should say a lot about his work ethic. His 77″ wing span give me the idea that he might not be done growing, but still makes up for his lack of height, and explains why he is so quick getting off blocks.
