What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

1st team all region 1 7A, 70 tackle 10 game season

Bengston is all out hustle and will get out to the sideline with urgency. I really like the motor on this 2021 recruit, and the general passion he shows ofr the game. He still needs to get strong, but fundamentals are pretty strong and he does a nice job of driving his legs through the tackler. The Tift defender has some versatility to play OLB and MLB at the next level. He looks pretty good in pass coverage too. He doesn’t have great top end speed, and could work on his acceleration. Agility could be better, and would help with making tackles inside the box. Bengston is a leader among his high school class and a very smart student too – there is a lot of upside here for the 2021 recruit, and should attract FBS and FCS programs for that reason. Bengston should become about 235 at the next level, and his upside lies best as a SAM. Pretty young for his class, still just 16 years old and will be 17 this summer.
