Barden is already a well-known recruit after his explosive sophomore season, and has found his encore performance junior season to be pretty successful so far. Right at the release Barden can burn a CB. It’s pretty much instant, and you can tell it’s over immediately. The 2020 WR can just flat out explode down field, and the quickness in his breaks can just leave a DB in the dust. Barden has outstanding focus hauling in the pass. He does a good job selling his double moves and is very deceptive with his route running. Good sideline awareness as well, and keeps feet in bounds on out passes. No way FBS schools pass up on the big play potential of Barden, but where he will make his hay in college is on intermediate to short passes, I think. He has potential to be a great route runner at the college level.
