Parker plays a hybrid SS/OLB type of role on his squad making big plays for his team. He’s always a play or two away from the big hit, and at 6’2″ and right at 200 lbs he has college size at SS already. It wouldn’t be a surprise one bit to see him grow out of DB, and become a WILL at the next level. What I always like about Westside defenders is how well versed they are different defensive schemes for a HS football player, and it certainly looks like Westside uses Parker in a number of ways to take advantage of his athletic prowess. His junior film is good for sure, it highlights what he can do at the college level, and it will be interesting to see his production at the end of the season. He shows pretty coverage skills at this point, making one of the tougher INT’s in the state in the early season.
