Hawes is a serious vertical threat down field and playing press coverage against him is a mistake. Perhaps his most impressive skill that stands out on film is his vertical leaping. Hawes has a 39″ vertical and he uses that explosive leaping ability to go up a level higher than the defender. He was a big weapon this season and has a lot of big +40 yards plays where he just burns the CB immediately.
