Twigg is a high IQ player who finished off the year with 6 interceptions, and was 2nd team All-County for his efforts. The 2019 safety gets a good jump on the play, and has solid acceleration getting out to the sideline to defend a pass. Allatoona put him in a deep zone a lot, so Twigg was allowed the responsibility to sit back and read the QB’s eyes. In many cases he was perfectly positioned, and was able to easily step in front of the pass. Twigg has good quality size, he’s only been working at football really in the last year, and more time in a college weight room could add a more explosive element to his game. Looks to have versatility to play either safety spot, solid tackler, steps up to the play pretty quickly – just under 60 tackles in just 9 games.
