What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

2023 6-AAA Athlete of the Year, 1100+ All Purpose yards 14 Total TD’s, National Combine in San Antonio Invite at DB
2022 6AAA First Team DB, 4 Ints.

One of the most dynamic players in 3A was Jamarian Pullum. The junior was named Region ATH of the year and had a total of 14 touchdowns and 1197 all-purpose yards. At 6’2″, and 185 lbs., Pullum has the athletic profile that will attract FBS programs. He’s shown up to several camps and been a standout and was named the Elite GA Classic junior MVP. Offensively, Pullum is utilized in several ways but is primarily a slot back. He runs a lot of belly series and in some cases just takes a direct snap. I wouldn’t be surprised to see his production go up considerably his senior year and see a +1800 all-purpose yard season in the works. That said, Pullum’s frame and change of direction suggest that he should be playing some receiver at the next level or defense to take advantage of his ability to make quick breaks and eat up the distance between Pullum and the opponent, utilizing his length. What stands out the most with Pullum is his ability to get upfield fast and have the explosiveness to get out to the sideline and hit another gear. With a background in both track and basketball, you can see his diverse athletic skill set on display, especially when playing cornerback. Given his physical profile, and current skill set, Pullum is most likely a better fit as a defensive back and has the size and versatility to line up at several positions. The 2025 needs to have a bigger impact when tackling, there is just not enough film and his top-end speed for a CB might not be enough for certain FBS programs. Getting more explosive in the hips, working on getting quicker in rotating them over and just top-end speed are major areas of focus.
