Robinson is a physical tackler who does a nice job of getting the ball carrier down quickly. In a blink of an eye the 2022 backer is in the backfield. I really like how low he gets on his tackle attempts. Does a very nice job of dropping his hips and generates very good power from his lower body driving for 5. Robinson has very nice instincts for the game. He has above average acceleration when closing on the ball carrier. Very good motor, there is a lot of assisted tackles that are pure effort. Robinson shows good lateral quickness getting into different gaps. Does an excellent job of keep his pads parallel to the LOS and shows good patience reading the play. Does a very good job of playing the read option. Robinson is a pretty slept on recruit at the moment. At 6’2″ and 204 lbs. he’s not extremely explosive to make for his lack of size, but I really like his feel for the game and ability to make tackles in the trenches. Robinson does an excellent job of filling his role, and when he makes a mistake he books it to make up for it.
