What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Ability to be self taught and be a hungry student for the game . I am always asking what can I do to get better and taking any advice I can get . On the athletic side I have an explosive first step and extremely athletic. I have a 38′ standing vertical and over ten feet broad jump .
Dormevil is also a standout playing basketball and if you watch him move around laterally you’ll see very light feet. His HS uses him in various ways to exploit his athleticism, and it looks like he is best suited as an outside linebacker at the next level. He’s got a ton of upside with his ability to move out in space, and has made a ton of improvement in the weight room this offseason, especially with his bench and power clean. His tackling fundamentals could use some refinement as well. He played really well against ELCA in the opening game this season, and we really like how he is filling out his frame. He’s added another 15 pounds since his most recent update back earlier this year.
