Dorsey has a compact body and moves really well laterally. He has a nice feel at reading the play and does a good job of anticipating where it is going. Covers a lot ground sliding his feet and does a very good job of squaring up on his tackle attempts. The 2020 athlete has the size of a nickle, but he mindset of a linebacker. He needs to clean up his tackles more, he just doesn’t have enough size in HS to always get the ball carrier down quickly. Doesn’t shy away from contact whatsoever, loves to make plays and will hustle after the ball carrier. Dorsey is such a tenacious young player, and when he tackles low there is a lot of efficiency in getting the ball carrier down.
