Hawk is what you call a pure football player who only knows the game at 100 MPH. The short linebacker recruit has excellent lateral quickness and does a great job of dropping his hips before making a tackle. His outstanding quickness allows for him to get around blocks and hardly even get touched. Very little seems to fool Hawk and he is very quick to react to the play in fact. The 2020 athlete is physical at the point of attack, gets off blocks quickly using violent hands. He is such a well schooled football player, and he shows excellent speed getting out to the sideline. Hawk will have to play WILL at the next level, so we would like to see him make more plays in coverage. You got to like the way Hawk runs the football too. He just goes all out wherever he is, and against all kinds of competition. The big questions is how small is Hawk actually, because he has the skill set and athleticism to play big time football – just not sure what position you would play him since he has almost no film in pass coverage.
