O’Neal has been the ‘Iron Man’ Over at Heard County the last few seasons playing both RB/WR/DB. The 2022 is a springy athlete with good range and length at 6’1″. He has a pretty long-running stride and is able to pick up yards quickly. Heard even uses O’Neal just in the wildcat for that reason just to get the prolific athlete the football. Watching him quickly accelerate on film it does seem like the senior could have a pretty good impact at WR. We have little doubt in his ball skills. And even though O’Neal has a lot of highlights running the football, his ability to go up and grab the football is his best skill by far. I’m also really impressed with his ability to get tough yards after the catch and just create ways to get extra yardage either dipping under a tackler or juking them out for an extra yard. On defense, he has the frame and upside to be a CB, but doesn’t have much of a background and his footwork is pretty raw in that capacity. O’Neal is a really good football player, who could really line up at a number of positions and make an impact.
