Appling sticks to his man like glue. He is an attacking boundary corner who is hard to block. He makes nice plays on passes thrown deep and keeps his head turned towards the pass. Really impressed with how light and quick his feet are, the senior can rotate his hips on a dime too, which allows him to be great in man coverage. He does a good job of keeping inside positioning on the WR and fairly good at reading the receiver. Appling is a tough player who hustles all over the field to make plays.
