Prince has a legit gear to him that most linebackers do not. Couple that with the fact that Shiloh does a great job of coaching up their linebackers, and you have a super intriguing linebacker prospect. He plays with urgency, and hustles his tail after the football, but even more promising is the pursuit angle he takes. Prince is very good at reading the ball carrier from a distance. He’s very aggressive taking on blockers showing strong hands to scrape off blocks and use his agility to get around the blocker. He drives his legs on a tackle, and there is a lot of determination to get them down, which he does promptly in most cases. Love his tackling fundamentals too, drops his hips and gets low. Very impressed with the 2022 linebacker. Obviously, he is not 6’3″ or 6’4″, but he has a nose for the football and has good top end speed to chase down RB’s that are currently committed to P5 schools. His lack of size might diminish his recruitment some, but we think he is a must-have for any G5 program, and a complete steal for any program under if he slips by.
