Hermann is a high energy football player who has been one of the leading tacklers in his classification the last few years totaling over 100. He is all energy out there on the field, a constant motor flowing to the football and is a solid tackler out in space. At times, we would like to see him get lower on his attempt. There are few small areas he can improve, his lateral quickness needs to be sharpened up, and that can affect his pursuit angles some. He is a heavy-hitter, and when he gets a full head of steam can really unload a big tackle. Instinctive at getting around blocks, has good timing and fakes the offensive lineman pretty easily. Good size all ready, and with a little more time to develop he could end up being a standout linebacker for his team at the next level.
