Harris showed off pretty good film in the spring, and sort of ran away with the running duties this fall leading his Tucker team in carries this season with over 80. He has a legit frame that looks powerful, and shows above average athleticism exploding through the hole. Keeps his pads pretty low, but what I like the most about Harris is how well he uses his blocks, especially in the open field. He does a nice job reading them, knows when to bounce it out or cut back against the grain. There’s no frills about Harris, he know what type of back he is, and seems to relish drawing contact in-between the tackles. We had a good feeling that Harris would end up as the primary back, but it’s impressive none the less. He’s a few good games away from eclipsing the 1000-yard mark, and should get double-digit touchdowns as well. Harris played well in post season All-Star game (O vs D Bowl) where he had 5 tackles, one for a loss and 82 yards rushing too.
