Coleman has definitely flown under the radar, but the rising senior did a very good job at TE and DE last year. He stands about 6’3″ or 6’4″. Over the last 6 months the 2022 recruit has added about 20 lbs. He’s very active with his hands, and moves pretty well laterally. Seems like a good candidate to play off the edge at the next level on defense. Coleman shows very good activity and length at the point of attack. He gets solid leverage, but needs to see quicker hands. Good job grinding through a blocking and getting into the backfield. Overall like his hustle a lot. Coleman has some good instincts on defense. The added strength does not reflect weight lifting numbers, but we suspect a very nice jump going into this fall. Coleman looks like a rock solid football player, and if the added muscle adds a more explosive element to his game that should increase D1 interest.
