Hayden Tumminia is an experience linebacker who led Milton in tackles on course to their 2nd state title in 2023. Tumminia has been working his tail off during the offseason and has been poised for a big senior year. Much like his older brother, Tumminia is a fighter on the field (a good wrestler too) with an impressive IQ for the game, and most importantly, a great leader. Those qualities are important attributes, especially for programs looking to round our their recruiting class. Standing at around 5’11” and 220 lbs., Tumminia has been hyper-focused on becoming the quickest linebacker possible, and has reported a shuttle time of 4.35 during the offseason as well as a top speed of 19.07 MPH. Tumminia’s senior film is impressive. He getting low on his tackle attempts, and looking explosive as he finishes. Very good striking low and wrapping up at the thighs. The improved agility has been a big factor, and you can see senior move in space, closing on the ball carrier abruptly and making the stop. Plus, a few nice plays in pass coverage.
