Allen is a physical edge defender who also gets some RB reps for Cartersville the last few years. Hard worker, does a great job of maximizing his athletic ability, and definitely an athlete that has put the time to be a solid football player at the next level. Very good grades, and already qualified to get into college with his test scores, and those date back to 2018 as a sophomore. Allen is just a high IQ football player. Good acceleration, and pretty fluid when making a cut too. We watched most of his film early in the 2019 season, but now going back into things you have to really like the fundamentals that Allen shows on a consistent basis, especially his open field tackling. He’s now almost up to 200 lbs. and will be playing his senior year at nearby Darlington, where we suspect that he will be the first team RB. Allen is an extremely motivated football player that we have watched for several years now, he is tough as nails and just a winning player in general. We probably still like his potential as a defender at the next level, his pursuit angles and awareness in pass coverage suggest that he could nickle in a 4-2-5 base defense.
