Berhane plays well with his hands and keeps a solid base when taking on a blocker. He gets under the pads of the lineman and gets really good leverage and then is able to use his powerful legs to drive him backwards. He’s a tough player who will pursuit the ball carrier to the end of the whistle. He is more of a run stopper at this point and might be better suited playing DE in a 3-4 defense. He will need to add another 20-30 pounds but he should get there.
