What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

What makes me stand out as a collegiate athlete is my work ethic, positive attitude and resilience. I also decided to stay loyal to my local school. I’m a 3-year starter, so I have plenty of experience. 3-year second team all-region. 2-year defensive player of the year. 160 career tackles, 7 sacks, and 4 fumble recoveries.

Starr has been a productive linebacker, accumulating over 150 tackles over the course of the career. He does a good job of reading the blocking, sliding his feet and lining up tackles with the ball carrier. Looks pretty good rotating his hips over in pass coverage, which considering his frame, would be a must. Starr is an instinctual linebacker prospect, finding the ball, hustling his tail off to the sideline and making tackles. These all add up, and some of his tackles are all motor. Starr needs to get stronger in his lower body, and just continue to fill out his frame, but I really like how the 2027 linebacker reads the blocking, and he shows potential in pass coverage, albeit film is limited. Overall, the 2027 linebacker has solid film, good grades, and has been the best defender at his HS back-to-back years. Seems like high-academic programs across the D1 spectrum would want take a glance.
