What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am a good student and I give 100 % all the time. Hard worker and great top speed and very physical runner. I was selected first team all region as a running back.

Martin is a weightlifting beast with a 500 lbs. squat and several more good lifts. He has pretty good speed right when he gets the football, showing decent acceleration to his top speed. Martin has decent speed into the open field with several long runs last fall. He has good pad level, nice forward lean to his running stride. The 2022 back is patient reading his blocks, times his cuts well and lowers his shoulder before contact to get extra yardage. Martin is a bowling ball running between the tackles. He is a good runner at the 2nd level making smart cuts and good IQ to bounce out to the sideline when there is an alleyway. It’s just early SR film, but Martin’s acceleration looks much improved in 2021 and he should be set for some long runs. As a blocker, I do like the intensity he plays with and the excellent hand placement and leg drive he shows – that intensity allows for him to slip out on passing plays and be wide open down the middle seam. Above all else, Martin plays with no fear and goes right into bigger DL to make a combo block if need be, and his powerful legs do a great job of driving them back. He’s showing better balance on tackles in 2021 too. Martin is another obvious option to play slot back in an option offense at the next level. The young man has worked his tail off at the HS level to be the best athlete he can be.
