What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Fast, Strong, Smart. 122 tackles 87 solo 19 tfl 5 sacks sophomore season!

Been watching Johnson since his freshman year of high school. As a sophomore he went for 122 tackles, and almost made All-State, being one of the few in his class to make any list in the state. First and foremost he is a strong athlete who cuts through the gaps and makes sound tackles. He is strong, and when the 2022 recruit makes contact the ball carrier is down quickly. He’s about 215 lbs. now, and should easily put on another 20 lbs. over the years here. Johnson figures to be one of the best linebackers in this class. He reminds me a ton of Jaquez Jackson out of Peach County, who ended up being 3-A defensive player of the year according to the AJC – he has the kind of potential. No junior film currently, a little worried that he might have received an injury. The biggest area we would like to see Johnson improve is acceleration and agility. Definitely like how he closes on the ball carrier, he is quick to step up against the run and takes good pursuit angles in the process.
