Daniels is going to grab your attention just seeing him on the field or measurements on the Mitchell County Hudl. His near 6’5″ frame gives him the ideal frame to play out on the edge. He shows pretty good urgency on defense. Scrapes off his blocks and makes tackles out in the flat. Above average patience on the read option. Daniels has a solid motor. He hustles out to the sideline and has impact over there. On offense he is also a TE, and definitely looks more raw as a route runner, but does have some decent upside there too. That’s more of a compliment to his athleticism at large, but personally see Daniels on the defensive side of the football. Best game in 2020 was against Pelham, which is a top 10 team in Class A public. Daniels has the type of frame to really add the weight and be a whole lot closer to 270 by the time he is peaking in college. Definitely think P5 programs will go after the 2022 recruit. He has a good blend of size, motor and athleticism that should attract a lot of colleges around the country.
