The big 2019 recruit has a nice frame and at 165 pounds we can see him being closer to 180 this time a year from now. He moves fairly well, but would like to see him plant his feet more when making passes. Arm strength is a question mark at this point but that should come along with the added strength. He ran the football occasionally in JV film, and interested to see how that comes along at the varsity level. He does have an athletic running stride – very natural. Would like to see him improve his mechanics and shorten up his release on his throws. Braxton will get his shot at varsity QB after being behind an FCS caliber QB this last few years. He ran a 4.54 at Austin Peay’s camp, really intrigued to see him play this fall.
