What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I work hard not only on the field but also in the classroom. I feel I’m an all-around athlete.

Gordon had a pretty strong junior year so far, the biggest by far coming in the first game of the year against Bradwell where he had over 300 yards offense. Overall he had 186 carries, 1430 yards and 17 touchdowns. The APB is an explosive football player, breaking off several long runs on the season. When Gordon plants his foot into the turf he almost accelerates out his cut. That could really be utilized at the next level in the screen game, but either way, the 2021 recruit makes some nasty cuts that just blows by the defense. Balance is pretty good, I think the biggest lacking element to his game is top-end speed. He moves well, and at the high school level can break off long runs, but I see him getting caught behind. If anything, working on his route running and becoming a more complete back should take his game to another level. Gordon should put up very good numbers his senior year. This was his first year as the primary ball carrier at Dodge, and he did a solid job, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially when he gets to the 2nd level of the defense. Option teams should be very interested in his ability to make quick cuts in space, while doing a pretty good job of using his blocks too.
