I had a good feeling just watching the big man move around in spring film, and junior year he has shown the run stopping instincts that you look for in potential SDE’s. He’s still getting stronger, and just learning to play fast, but you can see the potential no doubt in the 6’4″ frame of the 2020 defensive end. He’s got a good work ethic in the weight room, and with the right time he can be around 260-270 at the next level. I like his motor a lot, and you see him make tackles out on the flats and really get after the QB at times too. Westmoreland is not close to being a finished product, but with a 6’4″ frame, and good work ethic to go with there should be FBS interest no doubt. Needs to really work on his hip strength and becoming more flexible.
