Lavender is an ideal sniffer prospect with really strong hands and leg drive right at the point of attack. He does a great job of meeting his assignment and sealing off his block. Routinely see him do that on film, but needs to become a part of the offense as a receiver. From a pure physical standpoint Lavender can play at the FCS level, but needs more production next fall. Either way, get him to your camp, the Elbert passing attack was iffy last year, and it looks like he was glanced over. Coaching staff is very high on Lavender.
