Me being able to comprehend more than anyone on offense and defense.

Walton is slowly filling out and is now around 6’3″ and 190 lbs. The Evans receiver is used a lot in motion and playing a lot in the slot where can get the ball in his hands fast and make plays happen. He is a good runner with the football showing above average field vision. Walton even gets some handoffs to exploit that. He uses his stiff arm well, using length to keep defenders away. He has average speed, considering his size. We are impressed with his ability to break tackles. On defense, we would like to see Walton be a little more consistent with his tackling. He is a physical player for sure though. Several key blocks on the perimeter. He goes up for the football and attacks it, making several highlight interceptions while on defense. His big frame and ability to play the football up top makes Walton an interesting prospect for sure. His top end speed is just okay, but he has a real feel for the game and very physical. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him line up at QB this fall. I would see Walton developing into a slot TE or an OLB at the next level. He has the frame to end up being around 220 at the next level.
