Lewis has grown like crazy the last year, and has added an inch and nearly 40 lbs to his frame. Going into the 2018 season, he is one of the top defensive tackles in the state of Georgia. He’s very quick moving out his stance, and flows to the football more like a linebacker at times. It’ll be interesting to see if the added weight he continues to have the same mobility, in fact. Lewis has okay technique using his hands getting off blocks, but would like to see him get more flexibility in his lower body, as we see his back round out while engaged at times. He has a terrific nose for the football, and does a nice job of reading the play and taking proper pursuit angles. Claims to be committed to Auburn, but honestly, I’m wondering if he has a commitable offer in the first place. Lewis looks the part just based off the eyeball test, but needs to improve his consistency as a tackler.
