Lyman is a decent recruit, he does a solid job of tracking the QB’s eyes and shows above average athleticism and coordination. He plays a lot of man coverage for a safety, looks pretty good guarding the inside slot. Lyman is a pretty smart player, and does a good job of shading in the direction of the play before a lot has materialized. Lyman has average speed, and relies on good technique to play good man coverage. He is an underrated player, and I really like his upside at the next level to play several defensive back spots.
