West caught our eye when we were looking for Preseason All-State picks. He has a naturally wide body and takes on weight easily. West played in the Rising Seniors game this year. He plays with an edge to him, and is pretty tough fighting off blocks. He is surprisingly quickly getting out his stance. West looks like one of the best DT’s in the class of 2019. He is a physically tough young man. He shows really good balance getting off cut blocks and love his hustle coming from the backside. West is a good player, and should get some P5 interest and camp invites.
