Baldo is a 2x All-Region performer at North Springs. He shows good versatility playing OT, OG and center. What stands out right away is the physicality and quickness of the 2022 recruit. Baldo gets out his stance fast. Takes the defenders off guard. Shows very good leg drive while blocking. Very quick feet moving laterally. Baldo does need to get stronger, but his natural quickness stands out on film. Good explosive pancake blocks. Pretty impressive leg drive and a relentless blocker. Baldo is tenacious out there on the field. Strong hands at the point of attack. Baldo has a lot of athleticism upside, and his weight lifting is really just starting to show on film. There is a legit nasty streak to the 2022 recruit, and he doesn’t stock blocking until the defenders on the ground, and Baldo is pretty hellbent on making that happen. The 2022 recruit remains one of the more underrated OL in his class. Just watching Baldo’s film, and he made some really nice blocks throughout the year, some against D1 players at Riverwood and Grady. Not sure how big Baldo is though, maybe 6’2″ and about 270, but definitely like his blocking – both against the run and pass.
