What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I’m different than everybody else.

McBride definitely shows the first step to be an FBS caliber OLB/DE. He is a good athlete at 6’3″, nice acceleration and can definitely close on the ball carrier. Needs to continue to work on pursuit angles and try to improve more on lateral quickness, especially with our OLB projection at the next level. There is no doubt McBride has upside, he shows flashes on film when you see a quick swim move and him finishing off a tackle efficiently. Shows a good base to become good pass-rusher at the next level. Definitely needs to be more instinctive against the run. Would like to see him get some reps at OLB next year, which is a much better fit at the next level considering his frame. McBride is really starting to see more college interest this spring, and landing more FBS offers on the way. He’s definitely an intriguing recruit.
