Ward’s junior year just ended at the end over November, and put together about 3 mins of film. He played some DT, and looked okay, but also a little stiff in pursuit of the ball carrier. The 2021 recruit really needs to work on flexibility. He does a solid job sticking with the play, and has the size to clog up the middle but just doesn’t change directions very well. Ward will continue to put on weight. Honestly, on film he looks like he is already over 300 lbs., which is a 40 lb gain over the last year. Solid looking NT prospect, wouldn’t hurt to see more film from the OL, but he’s going to attract D1 interest based off his size alone. Production was good enough.
