Franklin was a youth standout and someone we have seen develop throughout the years. The 2025 passer does a nice job of reading the defense and finding soft parts of the zone to attack. Franklin throws the football on a line and keeps the ball tight when threading the needle down the middle of the field. He is a true pocket passer. Although he is more than capable of getting outside of the pocket, you will see Franklin does his best playing in a pocket where he can sit back and read the defense. Franklin did a solid job of managing the Brookwood offense as a junior, but we would like to him become more efficient in 2024. Mainly, cut down on the turnovers and continue to drive his team to wins. Becoming more active as a runner would be a welcomed addition to his game, especially since he weighs around 205 lbs., so getting behind his pads and playing physically seems plausible. Overall, Franklin has some good arm talent, and a bump in efficiency will solidify himself with local programs that are targeting the 2025 passer.
